Solstice Personal Training and Wellness is committed to accessibility. The site is built and maintained to conform with the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 Level AA. If anything stops you from finding what you need, please contact us and we will fix it.
Conformance target
WCAG 2.1 Level AA. We test against contrast ratios, keyboard navigation, focus visibility, semantic structure, alt text, form labels, and screen reader compatibility on every build before deploy.
What we have done
- Text contrast verified against WCAG 2.1 AA, with body text at 5:1 or better on its background.
- Skip-to-main-content link at the top of every page.
- One H1 per page and ordered H2 / H3 hierarchy.
- Visible focus rings on every interactive element, with a dual-layer halo on dark sections.
- Semantic HTML for landmarks (header, nav, main, footer, section, article).
- Consultation and journal forms have programmatically associated labels, clear status messages, and keyboard-operable controls.
- Alt text on meaningful images. Decorative images are marked aria-hidden.
- Mobile menu with proper aria-expanded, outside-click and Escape handling.
- Tap targets at least 44 by 44 pixels on mobile.
- Respects the prefers-reduced-motion setting.
- Site language declared on the html element.
Known limitations
- Several images remain branded concept placeholders pending a professional studio shoot. They are clearly identified and use descriptive alternative text in the meantime.
- The branded PushPress app and member access are not linked yet. They will receive a separate keyboard and screen reader review before activation.
- The location section uses an embedded Google Map. The full address and a standard directions link are also provided in text, so the map is never the only way to find the studio.
Audit date
Last reviewed on 2026-08-27. We audit again before any major release and at least every six months.
